Tracey Stock is a landman, lawyer, professional engineer, qualified mediator, and chartered manager, based in Calgary focusing on land asset management (minerals, contracts, surface), A&D, and information technology for the upstream, midstream, and integrated energy sectors. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a BASc (chemical engineering) and later earned a JD from the University of Calgary. Tracey has more than 30 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry, completed an MBA part-time while leading A&D at Talisman Energy Inc., and is a chartered manager. He currently serves as a Counsellor for the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, and as a director and Secretary of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration. Tracey is a Hearing Commissioner (part-time) and mediator for the Alberta Energy Regulator and has separate practices in law and engineering. In 2017 he received the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers from the Governor General of Canada.
